The Sick Racer
The racer is sick and the mother had two days of sleepless night. It all started on Saturday night when we took him out to go for our routine groceries shopping. All went well till we reached home around 9.30 p.m. when we noticed that he had a slight fever. Gave him fever medicine and then put him to sleep. He woke up every hour asking for attention and that is where I started my sleepless night.
By 8.00 a.m. on Sunday, his temperature reached 39.6 deg and we headed straight to our family doctor nearby. Got queue No. 30 and the doctor was not even reach the clinic yet! Our turn was only near to 11 a.m. Grrrrrrr His fever is better after the treatment and medicine. Only thing the appetite is not too good. He will throw up his milk & porridge and poor mummy have to change the bedsheet 3 times but its ok baby. My plan to go for the wedding invitation was cancelled. Sorry dear coz I could not make it to your place. As for today, thanks to DH for taking urgent leave for the sake of our son while I'm here in the office. Oh Oh its 1 plus already. I better call my boys now.
